HotelsYou could choose to stay in long-established Japanese Ryokans, and take time to enjoy the thermal baths and traditional healthy breakfasts and dinners that they have to offer.
Alternatively, if you would like to visit some big cities, then we will always accommodate you in one of the best 5 star western-style hotels that that city has to offer. Your hotel is guaranteed to be impressive - it will always be located in an affluent neighbourhood, offering a luxurious atmosphere and excellent service.
The price that you pay will include a luxury breakfast buffet each day, as well as taxes and service charges.
If you have any additional requests, i.e. if you would like to stay in a particular area or further upgrade the standard of your room, then please just ask us and we will see whether it is possible on the dates that you are travelling.
Half board optionSome half board accommodation is included in all tours. However, the amount of nights spent in half board accommodation varies according to the length and type of tour. However, we can arrange for either the entire duration of your trip to be on a half board basis, or else for your entire trip to be simply on a bed and breakfast basis. If you choose half board then we will happily reserve you top tables for dinner outside of your hotels. We have specially selected a number of establishments where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine - from traditional pub-style eateries to stylish restaurants. You could therefore gain an additional insight into Japan's culinary culture - tasting and enjoying a rich and varied selection of Japanese food.
Choice of airportMost of our guests choose to fly in to Japan's major airports, such as Osaka, Tokyo or Nagoya. However, we can pick you up from any international, or smaller, airport in Japan. We can also accompany you to the check-in desk for your return flight. On enquiry we can provide you with a free PDF about your private travel options.
Minimum/maximum number of travellersAll of our private journeys are exclusively designed for two people sharing a double- or twin room. If you want to travel alone (a single supplement applies), or in a larger group (for example as a family), then please contact us directly. We would also like to refer you to 7.b) of our Terms and Conditions.

We will furthermore always arrange the very best tour for your needs, whether you choose to embark upon a world tour, to travel by private jet, to take a round the world cruise or to spend time aboard luxury yachts.
Means of paymentOnce you have booked your tour with us, but before you have made any payments, we are legally obliged to send you a 'Travel Price Assurance Certificate'. This is issued by Reisegarant in Hamburg (
www.reisegarant.de). We will also send you an invoice requesting payment of a deposit of 20% of the total price of your booking.
We have to receive the remainder of the balance due at least 30 days prior to the planned departure of your tour.
For your protection deposit payments will be securely held in our
German Post Bank account. All money held in this account is fully protected by the
German bank deposit protection scheme.
We accept payment by bank transfer and credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard®, Union Pay and JCB).
Payment is accepted in Euros, USD, AED. We may be able to accept payment in a different currency upon request.
Cancellation and refundsCancellation fees for cancelling private tours to Japan will be calculated as follows:
Cancellation notice received up to 30 days prior to departure: 20% of the total tour price, per person.
Cancellation notice received between 29 to 22 days prior to departure: 30% of the total tour price, per person.
Cancellation received between 21 and 15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour price, per person.
Cancellation received between 14 and 8 days prior to departure: 60% of the total tour price, per person.
Cancellation received between 7 and 4 days prior to departure: 70 % of the total tour price, per person.
Cancellation received 3 days or less before departure or no show:
travellers will be charged the 80% of the total tour price, per person
Cancellation fees will be deducted from any money paid and any remainder returned to you.
